    A little piece of history

Sigoji is a family and artisanal chocolate factory located in the Namur region, in Belgium. Euphrasie Mbamba cultivates the passion of real chocolate with her husband Richard Berthe and his team.
Born in the cocoa plantations of her grandfather in Cameroon, she has inherited an ancestral know-how allowing her to perpetuate the tradition of good cocoa and the pleasure of sharing it.
Through a clash of cultures full of emotions and flavors, Sigoji's refined chocolates are created to shake up codes and taste buds and allow you to taste the explosive encounter of African soil and Belgian tradition.
Guided by values rooted in respect, from generation to generation, Euphrasie and her husband have made it their mission to preserve cocoa and consequently the taste of "good chocolate".

The love of chocolate, but not only

Sigoji was born from the confluence of several love stories.
Euphrasie Mbamba's love for Cameroon where she was born.
The love for the cocoa beans that her family cultivates.
Love for Belgium, where she settled at the age of 10.
Love for her husband with whom she shares a passion for chocolate.
And the love for their children Simeo and Ugo who inspired the name of their company.

A commercial success and a societal impact

Today, Sigoji has three stores in Belgium (Ciney, Rochefort and Uccle) and one in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Beyond the commercial success, Euphrasie Mbamba is proud of the societal impact of her company. She took over her grandfather's cocoa plantation with her uncle and cousin who manage it in Cameroon.

Twelve people now work on the family plantation and housing has been built to accommodate them and their families. They are fed and housed, and they receive a comfortable salary that allows them to provide an adequate level of education and security for their families.

The recognition of Sigoji as a flagship of Belgian gastronomy
