The passion for chocolate

Sigoji was born from Euphrasie Mbamba's passion for chocolate . She was born in Cameroon in a family of cocoa bean farmers . When she decided to become a chocolate maker in Belgium, the idea came quite naturally to her to highlight the beans harvested within the family farm . By tasting Sigoji chocolates, you bite into Africa to the fullest .

Sigoji's story

Euphrasie Mbamba was born in Cameroon and grew up on her grandfather's cocoa plantation . During the first 10 years of her life, she knew nothing about chocolate . As strange as it may seem, chocolate is a rare commodity in Africa .

His discovery of chocolate coincides with his move to Belgium with his family . Very quickly, this product fascinates her.

When she inherited the family plantation on the death of her grandfather, the desire was born to build her own artisanal chocolate project . She knows it, this land has immense potential.

The origin of the name Sigoji

Euphrasie Mbamba learns the art of chocolate making in Namur, with her husband Richard. Her first praline, she created it with goji berries . This is a founding act. When naming her business, she thinks of her children, Siméo and Ugo , and her first work as a chocolate maker. Sigoji is then born . We are in 2014 .
