Sigoji, a family affair
While Euphrasie Mbamba's passion for chocolate was born out of her curiosity for the cocoa beans her grandfather grew on the family plantation, the name of her chocolate factory was inspired by her children and her very first praline . The two boys of Euphrasia and her husband Richard are named Siméo and Ugo . Each has thus “lent” a syllable of his first name. "Goji" refers to goji berries , the main ingredient of the very first praline created by Euphrasie. The beginning of a very beautiful story!
